Evergreen continues to evolve our program offering at Evergreen Brick Works to reduce the spread of COVID-19, through the ongoing advice from public health officials.

We believe in building resilient cities – cities with a strong local food system, access to active living opportunities, joy in the community and home, and safe, healthy spaces for all residents.

With the most recent COVID-19 updates, we are continually evaluating how to safely deliver Evergreen Brick Works programs. Stay up-to-date on our website, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook as the situation evolves.

Mask & Vaccination Policies

Mask Policy

Following Ontario provincial health guidelines, as of March 21, visitors to Evergreen Brick Works will no longer be required to wear a mask. However, masks are strongly encouraged while using indoor spaces. Our Joint Health and Safety Committee and COVID-specific Recovery Committee continue to monitor the situation and update policies as needed.

Vaccination Policy for Staff and Volunteers

At Evergreen, we are committed to doing what we can to keep our employees, volunteers, and visitors safe and healthy during the current pandemic. We believe that an important part of this effort is to ensure that Evergreen staff and volunteers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

In line with updated government regulations, Evergreen will no longer be varifying the vaccination status of third parties, including Program Participants, Vendors or, Contractors.

Policy Compliance and Review

  • Our policies are reviewed regularly and may be updated from time to time in light of evolving developments and public health recommendations, with the goal of ensuring a safe environment.
