- All team building activities run for 1.5hrs. Optional add-ons can be purchased.

Fire & Knives
Build a fire using traditional fire-starting techniques and hone your camp craft skills with an introduction to whittling using carving knives.
How fast can you start a fire? Channel your wilderness survival skills and work together as a team to put your fire building and carving skills to the test in this timed challenge!

Shelter Build Challenge
Create a shelter using loose materials that can withstand the elements of nature.
In this timed challenge, groups work collaboratively to build a shelter that will be tested for strength, wind resistance, waterproofing, and more. Please note this activity may involve lifting and carrying of loose materials.

Nature in the City
Get outside, breathe in the fresh air, slow down and connect with Toronto's urban wilderness and ravine systems.
Reconnect with nature through a With guided walking tour from our staff where you’ll learn about bird calls, track creatures, recognize edible plants, play nature-based sensory games which will challenge you to discover more about the surrounding environment.

Nature Scavenger Hunt
Work in teams to unearth the secrets of the natural world at the Brick Works.
Embark on a site-wide scavenger hunt to complete two a circuits of challenges, riddles, and questions as quickly as possible. This activity is a fun and competitive way to build your group’s connection, team work and communication skills!

Clay Works
Shape, mold and get your hands dirty with clay and natural materials!
Learn to build an individual planter pot using a traditional hand building technique called coil building. Once you’ve mastered your pottery skills, you and your team will contribute to building a larger piece, one coil at a time. Pieces are fired and glazed on site and ready for your enjoyment in the office or at home within a week.
- Pricing: $110+HST/person* based on a group of 30 people. Prices will vary depending on group size.
- Available to book year-round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am – 4:00pm

FAQ
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
In the event of a cancellation, a written notice received by email is required 14 days before the scheduled program date. If a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the program date, 25% of the total cost will not be refunded. Otherwise, program fees are refundable, less a 10% administration fee. Requests for cancellations must be made in writing and submitted to natureplay@evergreen.ca .
Do you have a rescheduling policy?
Yes, in the event of a cancellation 48 hours prior to the scheduled program date, we can reschedule you to the next available date within the same package and add-on options in addition to an extra 10% administrative fee. What does a Corporate Team Building program include and what should my team expect?
You can expect to have fun while strengthening team connections through our nature-based activities in the heart of the Lower Don Valley!
Each team building activity has been carefully crafted for you to have an urban wild experience like no other in Toronto where your team will be inspired to push themselves to achieve new heights and goals together.
Each program:
- includes 1 team building activity
- runs for approximately 1.5hrs
- requires a minimum of 10 participants*
- runs rain, shine or snow

We are looking for a custom Corporate Team Building package. Can we customize the program?
Unfortunately, this is not an option. All our team building activities have been thoughtfully crafted to embody our values towards exploration and nature connection that are place-based, ecological, experiential, active, art-infused and integrated with traditional knowledge.
Program substitutions or customizations are not available. If your group size is more than 50 participants, please reach out to natureplay@evergreen.ca for a custom quote, availability and more information.
Can I have my event catered?

Do you offer catering services and can we bring our own food?
We do not offer catering services but our on-site restaurant, PICNIC Cafe does! We recommend you reaching out to them directly to inquire about their catering services at info@picnic-brickworks.ca for pricing and availability.
You are also welcome to bring your own lunch or catered service! If you require any meeting room or indoor space to have your lunch, please reach out to events@evergreen.ca.
For the Clay Works Program, how do we collect our finished pottery pieces?
Pots will be fired and glazed within 1-2 days of your team building activity. Once they are fully dried and ready (approx. 1 week after your activity), you will be notified via email when to pick up your clay pieces at Evergreen Brick Works
