The Fall Fair
As the leaves turn colour and the air turns crisp, make sure to mark your calendar for this year's fall festivities at Evergreen Brick Works – a charming, vibrant, and heartwarming experience that you won't want to miss!
Join us on Saturdays at the Brick Works as we transform the site into a Fall Fair at the Saturday Farmers Market, the Evergreen Garden Market and during Weekend Nature Play in the Children’s Garden.
PS - Thousands of visitors flock to the Don Valley every October to take in the vibrant colours and snap that perfect fall photo. Make sure to add it to your fall bucket list!
The Good Mourning Festival
Evergreen's first ever Good Mourning Festival will take place over two days - November 4 and 5. Day 1 is a NEW event at the Brick Works titled Together in Grief and Day 2 is our annual Day of the Dead Celebration.
The festival aims to bring different communities and cultures together to celebrate, commemorate and share experiences of death and grief. The festival invites the public to come together to reclaim death as a special part of life. There will be a diverse array of workshops, food, shopping, art installations, walks and more that you won't want to miss. Click the button below to see what we have planned for you!
The Saturday Farmers Market
Let's appreciate the rich flavours of autumn together! Whether you're shopping for ingredients to prepare a cozy home-cooked meal or simply enjoying the delicious treats available, the Autumn Farmers Market is a cherished destination for food enthusiasts and families alike. This month, our vendors will be bringing you: baked goods, seasonal soups, apples, squash, root vegetables, hearty greens and seasonal jams and preserves.
Find the Farmers Market under the Pavilions, open from 8am - 1pm. Our Farmers Market is one of the only market in Toronto that is open year-round. We'll be moving indoors on November 4.

- Fall Fair Photography Contest - Saturday, October 28 from 12pm - 5pm
- Halloween Costume Contest - Saturday, October 28 from 5pm - 6pm
- Mini Markets - October 1, October 14 and October 15

Celebrate Ravine Days with us from September 30 – October 9! Enjoy 10 days of events throughout Toronto’s beautiful ravine network. Some of the events we currently have planned are:
- Kidical Mass Toronto Ravine Ride from Regent Park to Evergreen Brick Works on September 30 from 9am - 10:30am
- Ravine Walk from Parkdale to High Park with High Park Nature Centre on October 1 from 1pm - 3pm
- Ravine Walk in Rowntree Mills Park with Markbrook Residents Group and Park People on October 7 from 11am - 3pm. For more information, call 647-960-3213. Registration starts at 10am at North Humber Park.
These events are part of Evergreen’s Active in the Ravines Community Event Series - connecting priority neighbourhoods to Toronto’s ravines. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.
Weekend Nature Play
Join us in the Children’s Garden from 10am - 3pm for some sensory play and arts and crafts to celebrate the bounty of the fall season during Weekend Nature Play. This is one of our favourite spaces at the Brick Works during this season. Come find out why!

Join us and register for Sprouts: Early Years (ages 2-5), Nature School: Learning Outdoors (ages 6-10) and PA Day Camps (ages 6-12).
Forest bathing at the Brick Works

There's nothing more beautiful than the Brick Works during the fall. Join Emily Pleasance and the Forest Bathing Club on October 15 to connect with nature in the city. Explore the hidden gems of the Don Valley, slow down and get in touch with the natural world. It’ll be an experience you won’t forget!
Infrastructure Institute's newest exhibit comes to the Brick Works

+(plus) 2.0 continues to explore Toronto as a leader in the design and implementation of mixed-use buildings, demonstrating how our cities can centre around care and mutual aid in partnerships. Drawing from ideas generated through the public’s participation in their first exhibition, +(plus) 1.0, Infrastructure Institute’s newest exhibition seeks to answer the question “What if ?”. +(plus) 2.0 explores the full breadth of possibilities for community-building that emerge from mixing improbable uses together; questions the current systems that maintain the ‘status quo’ in architecture/urban planning; and encourages us all to reimagine not only what our neighbourhoods look like, but ultimately who our cities are for.
